AfroLy DOES NOT ISSUE REFUNDS ONCE SERVICE IS RENDERED!
We understand that unplanned issues can come up and you may need to cancel an appointment. Our specialists want to be available for your needs and the needs of all our clients. When a client does not show up for a scheduled appointment, another client loses an opportunity to be serviced.
Although we have always had a cancellation policy, circumstances have caused us to enforce a policy of charging for no-show appointments, and appointments not cancelled within the appropriate time. As of June 28th, 2015 there will be a required service deposit fee of $30 for requesting and/or confirming an appointment.
AFTER WE ACCEPT THE APPOINTMENT YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL REQUESTING FOR $30 SERVICE DEPOSIT FEE. IF THE DEPOSIT IS NOT PAID WITHIN 20 HOURS, YOUR APPOINTMENT REQUEST WILL NOT BE CONFIRMED AND WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY BE CANCELED BY THE SYSTEM. The deposit will be applied to your service once the service is rendered or it will be refunded if we can’t schedule you within the requested times and/or a different time agreeable to AfroLy and the customer (YOU).
You will receive the full service price via email after requesting the appointment and will have the opportunity to confirm the appointment. Please check your spam filter and your email frequently as well will typically reply within 2 to 3 hours and if we don’t receive a timely response will will offer the time slot to another client.
SERVICE DEPOSIT FEE POLICY: The price shown while requesting the appointment is a SERVICE DEPOSIT FEE. IT IS NOT THE FULL SERVICE PRICE. This amount will be subtracted from your total invoice amount after service has been rendered.
CANCELLATION POLICY: You may cancel your appointment without charge anytime before the close of business (6:00 PM) on the business day preceding your appointment. If you do not cancel before the close of business (6:00 PM) on the business day preceding your appointment, you will forfeit your deposit.
NO-SHOW POLICY: A “no-show”, is a client who misses an appointment without cancelling it according to the CANCELLATION POLICY above. A failure to be present at the time of a scheduled appointment – without timely notification – is considered a “no-show”. This includes arriving 30 minutes after your scheduled appointment. This is an automatic forfeit of your deposit.
LATE ARRIVAL POLICY: You will be considered late should you arrive 15 minutes after your scheduled appointment and a NO-SHOW 30 minutes after your scheduled appointment.
RESCHEDULING POLICY: You may reschedule WITHOUT losing your deposit before the close of business (6:00 PM) on the business day preceding your appointment.

APPOINTMENT DURATION POLICY: All appointment duration times are estimates. They may vary depending on customers hair type, length, head size, etc.
ADDITIONAL FEE POLICY: Although we attempt to avoid adding additional fees by asking you questions that allows us to provide you an accurate, we may at times charge an additional fee if your hair length, head size and/or your height was not provided to us accurately.
HAIR PROVIDED BY AFROLY: For your convenience, AfroLy provides hair for most of its services. You will be informed within 24 hours of your appointment date and time if the hair color/type that you selected is out of stock. Should this occur you may request a different color/type that’s in stock or bring your own hair with you. The hair that AfroLy provides is the only types of hair AfroLy carries; customer is required to purchase their hair if they requires a specific hair that is not supplied by AfroLy.
IF THE $30 DEPOSIT FEE IS NOT PAID, YOUR APPOINTMENT REQUEST WILL NOT BE APPROVED. The deposit will be applied to your service once the service is rendered or it will be refunded if we can’t schedule you within the requested times and/or a different time agreeable to AfroLy and the customer (YOU).
